A question that needs a page read for the first time takes longer. Nothing is lost if you wait.

AskJackson is open to invited groups. Your club, shop or organisation will have given you a code. You only enter it once.
On: search finds 12 candidate pages and Jev ranks them, and a reworded question is matched to a previous answer by Jev. Off: the site behaves as before. If Jev is unreachable it behaves as before whether on or off.
Every file in this site's library. Click a name to download the manual itself; members never get the whole file, only pages. A filed manual waits for the worker, which reads it at the depth chosen and sends the pages back. "Sight plan" lists the pages no shallower depth could settle and what reading them costs; approving it queues those pages, and only those pages, for the worker. Nothing is spent until you say so.
A code is shared with a group. Anyone who signs in with Google and enters it is let in, and it is recorded against their name. Switching a code off stops new people using it and puts its members out until it is switched back on.

A thumbs down carries why, so a wrong or thin answer can be run down while it is fresh — and it WITHDRAWS the answer at once: it is offered to nobody and listed nowhere until you have read it against its pages and verified it. On a single server in the United States, on an encrypted disk, reachable only over HTTPS. To have your account and aircraft details deleted, email the administrator from the address you signed in with; the questions you asked stay in the record without your name on them. Your questions and answers can be sent to you on request the same way.
